Job DescriptionPlan, coordinate and monitor the work of the tax team.Ensure the standardization of tax procedures from all Agencies, as well as compliance with applicable legislation and ancillary obligations.Prepare tax planning for the activities carried out in Argentina, also focusing on international taxation and its impacts with the objective of legally reducing the tax burden of companies.Coordinate the entire tax routine with the business units, and ensure the application of current legislation, business principles and tax policies of the Group, holding meetings with those responsible.Monitor inspection work related to tax areas.Interpret and enforce tax laws, issue internal interpretative opinions and disseminate the instructions necessary for their implementation.Keep the tax area up to date with Argentina's tax issues and provide clarifications when requested.Monitor the calculation and collection of taxes and contributions from the business units, as well as the position of possible litigation.Maintain direct contact with tax authorities, creating a communication channel for consultation and resolution of issues of interest.Promote the dissemination of corporate policies, ensuring full knowledge by its team and application in the activities under its responsibility.Keep their subordinates up to date on aspects of the business that may influence their activities.Promote integration between the areas under their responsibility, so that they work in a coordinated and efficient manner.Ensure that the areas under their responsibility have the necessary resources and conditions to carry out the planned activities.Knowledge related to mergers and acquisitions.QualificationsExperience in the area: 10 years of experience in Legal / Tax or Accounting areas in medium or large companies. Passing through BIG4 is a differential.
Required education: Bachelor's degree in Law, Accounting or Business Administration.
Languages: Fluent English level is required.
Required Skills: Understands the link between revenues/costs and uses this information to guide economic focus.Knowledge in Tax, Corporate, Commercial Legislation and large systems. Experience in relation to the tax authorities, lawyers, consultants, auditors.Broad Vision - Ability to analyze the environment, both locally and in a broader context, to gather diverse information potentially relevant to achieving the objectives of the position.Demonstrates a knowledge of business and financial concepts and can assess the situation to minimize risk.Ability to work efficiently in different scenarios, demonstrated by the ability to correct one's own approach as circumstances and situations unfold.
