The Tax Coordinator is responsible for supporting tax reporting, tax planning, and compliance functions regarding Indirect & Direct Tax. Must be familiar with tax regulations at the national, provincial, and municipal levels for Argentina; knowledge of CAC is a plus. Must have the ability to coordinate multiple tasks in a deadline-driven environment. Should be able to support both internal and external customers and tax audits. Important organizational relationships will include communication skills with different areas in the Company and external vendors (e.g., KPMG, EY, others).
Responsibilities: Ensure compliance with all tax filing requirements (National, Provincial, and Municipal Taxes) (VAT, GST, WHT & Perception National and Provincial Regimes, Informative Regimes, others);Support monitoring tax processes and systems to ensure they are efficient, accurate, up to date, and comply with current regulatory requirements;Support internal and external customers on taxability issues (e.g., CIT matters with EY, others);Assist in answering tax authorities' inquiries and audits (internal & external);Responsible for filing the tax tool reports (Tax tools: VAT SharePoint, others);Responsible for reviewing electronic fiscal addresses;Stay updated on tax legislation in Argentina & CAC, communicating and implementing changes as necessary;Participate in the Vendor Master Data Approval Process;Update LE's fiscal data;Assist with projects or assignments;Support improving the company's cash flow and reducing tax impact in P&L through analysis of national/provincial/municipal tax legislation;Assist on SAP issues;Qualifications (Training, Education & Prior Experience): University degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or Law; Tax specialization preferred;4 - 7 years of experience in accounting and tax firms; Proficiency with tax accounting;English - advanced level;SAP knowledge;Knowledge of Central America and Caribbean tax legislation is a plus;BOT's knowledge is a plus;Experience in the Pharmaceutical industry is a plus.Skills: Strong analytical background;Solid understanding of accounting and tax;Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management both verbally and in writing;Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-energy environment;Ability to multi-task, consistently meeting deadlines on multiple projects and activities;Work effectively in a team environment and build collaborative relationships with peers and other stakeholders.Pfizer is committed to equal opportunity in the terms and conditions of employment for all employees and job applicants without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, age, gender identity or gender expression, national origin, disability, or veteran status.
