Position SummaryWorking in a fast-paced environment, the Talent Acquisition Specialist is a highly driven, organized, and ambitious recruiting professional that will conduct the prescreening and sourcing process for assigned roles within the organization. The Talent Acquisition Specialist will build searches and create engaging messages to attract qualified candidates for our complex multi-franchise business. The Talent Acquisition Specialist will be challenged to think creatively while helping the Talent Acquisition Team improve the ability to quickly identify and engage qualified candidates.
Key Responsibilities and Duties:Create and maintain job requisitions to attract the best talentPrescreen and evaluate candidates for multiple positions in alignment with the job profile, provide recommendations to hiring managers to hire most suitable talent possibleSource candidates for hard to fill roles and builds diversity recruiting strategies and talent pipelines (Social platforms and professional networks)Work within Workday (ATS) daily and external job boards to manage job applicants, and engage active and passive job seekers; Utilize Vid-Recruiter to review candidates for operational and event day positionsRepresent company internally and externally at events with a goal of networking and relationship building with potential candidate communities; Coordinate local job fairs, arrange in-person hiring events, internship program; build relationships with vendor partnersApply DEI strategies in recruitment operation to ensure fairness in the process and follow leagues diversity hiring regulationsManage respective candidate pools to ensure qualified candidates remain engaged in current or future opportunitiesRegularly track and communicate recruiting strategies, progress and outcomes with Talent Acquisition leader and other stakeholdersHelp with one-off projects and suggest new ideas that contributes to the continuous innovation of the Talent Acquisition departmentGenerate monthly updates for company's leadership about upcoming talent acquisition initiativesConduct compliance efforts by reviewing employment applications and background check reportsQualifications and Skills:GED or high school diploma; Bachelors degree preferredA minimum of 3 years sourcing or talent acquisition experience in an agency or corporate settingFamiliarity sourcing utilizing various databases and tools: LinkedIn, Indeed, HandshakeATS experience, preferably WorkdayAbility to thrive within an independent working environmentThe ideal candidate must possess strong listening and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with various stakeholdersComfort in building strategic sourcing plans and engaging passive candidatesTechnically savvy to maneuver within Microsoft Office Suite and various job boardsAbility to multi-task, prioritize, and pivot as priorities may quickly changePossess intuitive skills to make sound decisions with limited supervisionWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear.
