System Engineer – Buenos Aires, Argentina Our Client is an IT technology company in New York that opened offices in the Palermo, Buenos Aires area in 2023 to support operations in the USA and globally. For level 2 of the Support Department, we will select a System Engineer orSystems Administrator in Buenos Aires.
Mission to accomplish Systems Administrator are responsible for providing advanced technical support to end users of our technology stack. In this role, you will resolve and escalate client technical issues in a timely manner.
Keys to the position: 1. Systems Engineers must be highly technical and comfortable handling various server operating systems, Citrix, Terminal Services, Exchange, Disaster Recovery, Networking, and local desktop/mobile devices.
2. Have prior experience working in a Support / Service / Systems Administrator, role (mandatory).
3. Have a thorough understanding of relevant technological concepts and be passionate about staying at the forefront of an ever-evolving technology landscape.
What You Will Do: · Provide a high level of service in all customer interactions.
· Provide remote user support for Cloud/Citrix based issues.
· Evaluate and handle incoming requests via telephone and ticket queues.
· Troubleshooting, diagnosis, and resolution of various technical issues.
· Maintain customer life cycle documentation.
· Thoroughly document progress and solutions within the ticketing system.
· Work with other technical teams to resolve and/or escalate issues
· Build rapport with customers, end users, and co-workers.
· Be available for weekly on-call rotation.
Job Requirements: · 3+ years working in a Support/Service/Systems Administrator role.
· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related degree preferred.
· English fluency (mandatory).
Job Offer: · Hybrid job: 5 days/week in-person during training; 3 days/week in-person after training.
· Working hours: during training 10am – 4pm local time, Mon–Fri; assigned 8hr shift after training (daytime)
· Location: Av Scalabrini Ortiz y Av Córdoba (Palermo, Buenos Aires).
. Salary range:$2,000 – $3,000 USD gross/month (depending on experience)
