Description
Responsible for documenting and enhancing the logistics center processes and data flow. Conduct analytical analysis to pinpoint areas of improvement. Implement ISO documentation and quality checks. Standardize forms and processes within the department together with external parties. Follow up with vendor contracts and introduce new ideas to enhance lead time and cost. Audit warehouse processes. Work closely and manage all 3PL processes and KPIs. Implement ICS controls. System Coordination: Identify all Logistics System bugs and coordinate with IT to implement solutions after thorough testing. Project management of business implementations, system changes, and digital transformation. Communicate with central and local support for Logistics and barcode/WH operation systems and follow up with any necessary modifications. Handle all ordering system communication and deliver the know-how to other team members. Review data maintenance to ensure smooth operation and processes. Responsible for all equations and parameters within the Logistics System. Ensure system security and upload any required data. Ability to export required information for other departments. Fix minor issues and monitor daily system reports. Create new parts and maintain data cleansing. Design and implement innovative solutions to reduce manual work and provide the team with tools to facilitate their jobs. Manage a pool of datasets to create a cube for reporting and analysis. Responsible for parts pricing, discounts, parameters, customer creations, and invoicing. Reporting and KPIs: Generate tools and systems support to enhance daily operations. Provide required periodic reports to local management together with RLC and GLC. Provide KPIs to pinpoint areas of improvement. Implement reports for all operational aspects including but not limited to inventory management, location management, warehouse capacity analysis, clearance processes, and lead-time analysis. Support other team members in enhancing their current processes by introducing new tools. Create process automation and enhancements. Logistics, stock, warehouse, and backorder dashboards should be revised weekly by the logistics team. First line of contact for various GCSP departments including RLC to report any central figures. Conduct out-of-the-box analysis to identify cost reductions, reduce manual work, and enhance the sales function. Maintain and create BI reports according to business needs. Warehouse Management: Manage 3PL RF scanning and barcode system through daily operations. Responsible for all administration and procurement work related. Manage warehouse processes through daily interactions regarding inbound/outbound processes. Manage all third-party communications and discussions in terms of facility needs or maintenance. Run inbound processes over the warehouse management system. Handle the process of central claiming. Perform month-end and re-ordering proposals whenever needed. Conduct perpetual and year-end counting. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Finance, or any equivalent field from a reputable university. Good IT and analytical capabilities are a must. Relevant postgraduate study is preferable. Technical Knowledge: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Previous exposure to international business. Knowledge of supply chain and spare parts systems. Experience in departmental and personnel management. Familiarity with project management methodologies (certification is a plus). Proficiency in database design with SQL and other data query languages. Strong proficiency in BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, QlikView). Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Excellent presentation skills. Excellent leadership and managerial skills. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Excellent time and stress management skills. Experience: 4-5 years of experience in analytical reporting with at least 1 year in a similar position holding the same responsibilities and tasks. Language: Fluency in spoken and written Arabic and English languages.
