Job Description - System Architect OTA Update Cloud China (MER0002XV9) Group: Mercedes-Benz Group AG
Job Objective The system architect is responsible for the overall architecture of the new OTA Update Cloud for China. This includes defining the system components and interfaces to both internal and external systems. The system architect also supports the product owners in technical guidelines regarding architecture, security, and standards.Define the system architecture for the OTA update landscape. Align with stakeholders regarding requirements, features, and timeline.Ensure technical standards regarding architecture, interfaces and security.Track KPIs, define countermeasures and report them to relevant stakeholders and management.Qualifications Education:
Bachelor degree or above, 6+ years working experience, 3+ years working experience as a system architect.
Experience and knowledge: Strong background in system architecture, application architecture and interfaces.Strong background in application development (backend applications).Strong background in Cloud services (Microsoft Azure, AWS).Fluent oral English communication capability to internal/global teams and customers.Excellent team-work spirit, communication skill, task, and work planning skill, and self-motivated.Knowledge in automotive industry or OTA Software Updates is preferred.
