Summary: This is a trainee position. Incumbents will be engaged in trainee duties that may lead to the full performance level of a Sterile Processing Technician. The Sterile Processing Technician collects, cleans, decontaminates, disinfects and/or sterilizes surgical instruments, trays and packs, reusable medical devices and patient care equipment according to established standards and procedures to ensure sterile and functioning supply of materials and equipment.
The starting salary range is $37,121 - $45,864 which includes a comprehensive benefits package.
Qualifications: High School Diploma or High School Equivalency Diploma.
Preferred Qualifications: The preferred candidate will have training in SPD or an approved program, a CRCST Certification, basic computer skills and good communication interpersonal skills.
