Description and RequirementsLenovo's Solutions and Services Group (SSG) is seeking a qualified Project Manager to help manage the creation and expansion of Lenovo Services initiatives across all regions and segments worldwide. This role requires a dynamic thought leader who is comfortable and effective at influencing across worldwide and regional leadership teams to ensure that business objectives and P&L targets are met.
The individual should use their experience, operations analysis skills, creative thinking and ability to draw on past business experience to provide creative and thoughtful solutions to issues. This position requires the individual to be a part of an Offerings Development Team and work efficiently and effectively with Service Delivery, Procurement, Operations, Geography Marketing, Manufacturing, and Finance team whose primary mission is to lead chartered projects and cross-functional, global project teams to plan, execute and deliver SSG Service Offerings and Solutions.
ResponsibilitiesLead the project team to understand the project charter and to complete project objectivesUnderstand and manage project scope to deliver within the time / cost restraintsEnsure E2E process will be executed as designed / Identify and communicate gapsEnsure appropriate team membership / functional representationDevelop, manage, own, and execute project scheduleMonitor execution, drive functional commitments to deliver, and provide timely / accurate project status updatesOwn project risk management planning and change controlManage the Decision Checkpoint Process for the projectEscalate issues to management as requiredUnderstand other Services projects planned/underway and identify if related to the project & ensure effective interlockPerform regular Lessons Learned with the team to ensure project and process improvements are captured from Concept to LaunchQualificationsMinimum of 3 years project management experience; PMI preferred but not requiredProven track record in project management of complex projectsAbility to manage multiple projects, balance competing priorities, and be flexible and creativeAbility to maintain composure and perseverance in a deadline-driven environmentAbility to lead effectively through complexity and ambiguityStrong verbal and written communication skillsStrong critical thinking and problem solving skillsStrong customer focus and business acumenAbility to build effective working relationshipsAbility to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic multi-culture environmentBusiness acumen and experience working with senior executivesStrong cross-functional collaboration across diverse stakeholders to ensure responsiveness to deliverables and deadlines, alignment with project imperatives, and drive actionWorking knowledge of MS Excel, PowerPoint and ProjectFluent English levelIf you require an accommodation to complete this application, please ******
