Job Overview: The Senior Project Manager is crucial in driving the success of complex market research projects and contributing to the strategic goals of the organization. This role involves comprehensive planning, coordination, and execution of domestic and global research projects, necessitating frequent communication with team members, survey panelists, vendors, and clients. The most successful Senior PMs at SHG are individuals who strive to build and grow sticky client relationships. They do this by delivering exceptional customer experiences through an unwavering attention to detail and high level of proactive project management. The Senior PM is responsible for tactical execution tasks (e.g., engaging a high number of respondents to fully complete complex studies within timelines and budget) required for successful project execution. But at the same time, the Senior PM can take a step back and think strategically about what will deliver the best overall results for our clients and make that happen through collaborative teamwork across the organization. Responsibilities: Develop, build, and maintain strong client relationships through outstanding service and strategic consultation. Lead the planning and management of project-related activities. Design sampling strategies to secure completing project quota within project timelines. Engage in productive collaborations with other departments across the organization. Foster and manage vendor relationships to enhance project outcomes. Use Salesforce project planners to accurately track project margin, revenue, and costs. Manage and effectively prioritize a high workload of varying complexity, with the ability to support highly complex global projects Address client queries promptly and efficiently, ensuring proactive resolutions to issues. Stay up to speed on industry trends, best practices and emerging technologies. Identify opportunities for continuous process improvement to enhance project delivery efficiency and effectiveness. Occasionally manage out-of-hours communications to meet project needs. Play a mentoring role to more junior team members (e.g., occasionally assist Jr. team members with sampling strategies and project triage.) Perform additional duties as needed to support the team and projects. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or equivalent working experience is required. Minimum of 4+ years' relevant work experience. Background in Market Research, Pharmaceutical, or Healthcare industry. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced skills in Excel and Word. Familiarity with Decipher and Salesforce highly desirable. Advanced Demonstrated Proficiency with Full-Service methodologies (programming, translations, data processing, cross tabs etc.) Skills and Attributes:
