Job Overview Optimize product sales performance, market segment penetration, and profitability. Develop product life-cycle management tactics and new product launch strategies. Ensure product accuracy and readiness date amongst all internal and external business partners.
Develop and ensure that strategic marketing and product plans for the assigned model(s) are driven by U.S. market and customer requirements. Collaborate with other departments on strategic and tactical planning.
Maximize customer satisfaction for the assigned product lines and facilitate customer inquiries. Develop and implement life cycle product strategies and oversee aspects of product/model year launches. Develop annual budget submission and achieve objectives within approved budget.
Responsibilities Maximize sales performance via the development, implementation, and maintenance of customer-driven and profitable strategic and product plans for the assigned product lines.
Qualifications Education: Bachelor's Degree (accredited school) or equivalent work experience.
Experience: Must have 10 years of experience in the following:
Comprehensive knowledge of fundamental business practices and concepts.Proficient knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning.Knowledge of marketing research sources and data analysis techniques.Proficient knowledge of effective communications and public relations principles.Additional Information Excellent communication skills - both verbal and written.Excellent organizational skills, including the ability to work with simultaneous projects and deadline pressure.Ability to clearly articulate strategies, tactics, and product plans to dealer groups and press.Skilled in budget preparation and administration.Strong quantitative skills, including financial analysis.EEO Statement Mercedes-Benz USA is committed to fostering an inclusive environment that appreciates and leverages the diversity of our team.
