We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Contractor to support our IT team during a transition period. This role involves managing and securing our IT infrastructure, ensuring the smooth operation of our systems, and supporting our transition to a permanent hire.

The ideal candidate will have a broad range of skills with a strong emphasis on Checkpoint Firewall management.

Key Responsibilities :

- Firewall Management :
- Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Checkpoint Firewall systems.
- Implement and manage VPN point-to-point connections for branch offices and mobile access endpoints.

- Ensure the firewall provides robust perimeter protection and manage security policies.
- Server and Network Management :
- Administer virtual and physical servers, including VMware for production environments and Hyper-V for testing.

Required Qualifications :

- Proven experience with Checkpoint Firewall configuration and management.
- Strong knowledge of VMware, Hyper-V, and server administration.
- Experience with Veeam Backup solutions and cloud backup services.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience with Azure services and Web Application Firewalls (WAF).
