As a Senior Azure Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining Azure solutions to support our organization's cloud infrastructure. Your responsibilities will include defining Azure architecture, configuring and managing Azure components, and ensuring the security and efficiency of our cloud systems. This position requires a deep understanding of Azure services and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Azure Architecture and Component Definition:
o Collaborate with stakeholders to define and document Azure architecture and components based on business requirements.
o Develop architectural blueprints and technical documentation to support the implementation and management of Azure solutions.
2. Azure Configuration and Development:
o Configure necessary Azure components, including virtual machines, databases, storage accounts, and other Azure services.
o Develop and configure Azure solutions to meet specific project needs and ensure seamless integration with existing systems.
3. Azure Networking Management:
o Design and manage Azure networking components, including virtual networks, subnets, VPN gateways, and ExpressRoute circuits.
o Ensure the performance, scalability, and reliability of Azure networking infrastructure.
4. Technical Support During Deployment:
o Provide technical support and guidance during the deployment of Azure solutions.
o Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Azure deployments and configurations.
5. Documentation of Azure Service Configurations:
o Document configurations of Azure services, including resource groups, storage accounts, databases, and application services.
o Maintain up-to-date documentation to support ongoing maintenance and troubleshooting efforts.
6. Azure Security Requirements and Risk Assessments:
o Define Azure security requirements in collaboration with security teams and stakeholders.
o Conduct initial risk assessments to identify potential security vulnerabilities and recommend mitigation strategies.
7. Azure Security Policies and Access Controls:
o Set up Azure security policies and access controls to protect cloud resources and data.
o Implement role-based access controls (RBAC) and ensure compliance with security best practices.
8. Continuous Security Testing:
o Conduct continuous security testing of Azure environments to identify and address vulnerabilities.
o Utilize security tools and services to monitor and protect against threats and unauthorized access.
9. Post-Deployment Azure Security Audits:
o Conduct post-deployment security audits to ensure compliance with security policies and standards.
o Document audit results and implement corrective actions as needed.
10. Documentation of Azure Security Policies and Audit Results:
o Document Azure security policies, procedures, and audit results.
o Maintain detailed records to support security governance and compliance efforts.
Requirements · Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
· Minimum of 5 years of experience in designing, implementing, and managing Azure solutions.
· Strong understanding of Azure architecture, services, and components.
· Experience with Azure networking, including virtual networks, VPN gateways, and ExpressRoute.
· Proficiency in configuring and developing Azure resources and services.
· In-depth knowledge of Azure security best practices and compliance requirements.
· Experience with security tools and services for continuous monitoring and threat detection.
· Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
