JOB PURPOSE As Social Media Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing a company's interactions with the public by implementing social media platforms' content strategies. Their duties include analyzing engagement data, identifying trends in customer interactions and planning digital campaigns to build community online PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES Coordinate the social media team, leading them to create compelling original content following the overall digital strategyAdapt and implement social networks and communication campaigns to align them with marketing strategies.Oversee creative and design elements related to social content.Lead the community manager team to manage the community by building relationships with clients, potential clients, industry professionals and journalists.Follow events live, participate as appropriate, and come up with innovative ways to get involved.Lead the team of copywriters and journalistsOrganize and participate in events to build a community and increase brand awareness.Liaise with the Development and Sales departments to stay updated on new products and featuresKeep up with digital technology trendsCoordinate with marketing, public relations and communications teams to ensure brand consistency.JOB QUALIFICATIONS 5 + years of direct experience in a similar position, preferably in a technology start-up environment fintech or creative agencies.Bachelor's degree required in Marketing, digital comms, or related.Full mane English, fluent in Spanish.Experience working for US or EMEA markets Experience in SM Content Creation and Creative Writing. Knowledge in tactical organic growth.Design understanding to give clear instructions to the design team and follow aesthetic guidelines for using templatesKnowledge of design applications for social networks, such as Canva.Stay up-to-date with digital technology trends and platform best practicesExperience in launching community initiatives.Ability to identify and track relevant community metricsAbility to interpret insights and online customer engagement metrics and make recommendationsVery Strong Interpersonal Skills - Builds strong relationships with a wide variety of stakeholders across the company.Excellent written and verbal communication.Organized – manage multiple workflows and can prioritize effectivelyThorough and detail oriented - executes high quality work and keeps information up to dateAchievement orientation: persistent focus on resultsFlexible and adaptable: can manage change and work comfortably with ambiguity and can operate at a strategic level but also carry all operational/tactical responsibilitiesTeam Player - Works well in a collaborative environment.
