Role Overview:
We seek a highly skilled SEO Specialist / Content Creator who will play a pivotal role in producing, executing, and optimizing our digital content and SEO strategies across our portfolio of local brands. In collaboration with an integrated agency team and in-house product/technology partners, this position will be critical in ensuring the success of our marketing effectiveness as we continue to scale rapidly through organic and M growth.
The ideal candidate will have expertise in local SEO, a strong understanding of the interplay between organic and paid channels, and the ability to create, optimize, and measure the effectiveness of content to resonate with local customers in the home services sector.
Key Responsibilities:
SEO Strategy & Execution:
? Develop and implement comprehensive SEO strategies focused on local optimization across multiple markets (HVAC, plumbing, electric).
? Work with internal teams and external agencies to execute SEO plans and ensure alignment with business objectives.
? Provide agencies and consultants with insights on local market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to inform SEO and paid media strategy.
? Conduct keyword research, competitive analysis, and website audits to identify areas of improvement and growth.
? Optimize website content, meta descriptions, headings, internal linking structures, backlinks and keyword / broadmatch usage to maximize organic rankings and drive traffic.
? Monitor SEO performance, track KPIs, and adjust tactics to continuously improve organic search results.
Content Creation & Optimization
? Create high-quality, SEO-friendly content for blogs, landing pages, service pages, and other digital assets.
? Partner with internal teams to produce localized content that aligns with regional search intent and local trends in the home services space.
? Edit and optimize existing content to improve performance and drive traffic.
? Develop content strategies that integrate organic search and paid campaigns to enhance overall marketing effectiveness.
Data Analysis & Reporting
? Use analytics tools to monitor, analyze, and report on organic traffic, keyword rankings, and overall SEO performance.
? Analyze the relationship between paid and organic channels, ensuring strategies are aligned to drive maximum ROI through high demand and shoulder season
? Provide actionable insights to improve both organic and paid search performance based on data analysis.
M Support
? Assist with the integration of new acquisitions into the company's SEO and content strategy,
ensuring that local SEO and content needs are effectively addressed.
? Manage content and SEO audits for new brands and businesses, providing recommendations for optimization.
Skills & Qualifications
? 3+ years of SEO experience.
? Strong understanding of local SEO strategies and the importance of location-based search results.
? Experience working with external agencies or consultants to execute SEO and content marketing strategies.
? Demonstrated ability to manage SEO for multiple locations/markets simultaneously, particularly in a fast-growing or M&A-driven; environment.
? Proven experience in content creation, including copywriting, blog writing, and landing page optimization.
? Expertise in SEO tools (Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, etc)
? Strong data-driven mindset with the ability to analyze performance metrics and adjust strategies accordingly.
