Dow has an exciting and challenging opportunity for a Senior Training and ODMS Coordinator, located in Bahia Blanca (Argentina).
About you and this role - What you would do in this role You will coordinate the development and implementation of and maintain the plant/department training program to ensure compliance is achieved for all training policies and requirements.
You will own the department training program for assigned areas, ensuring department training documentation is current and up to date.
You will manage the annual training program review with department leadership and initiate any needed adjustments to the program.
You will support the business in maintaining the Operations Discipline Management System (ODMS) and maximizing value from ODMS use in the department.
Typically responsible for a small to medium facility, this role requires full proficiency in a range of technical, operational, or analytical/scientific processes and procedures through job-related training and considerable on-the-job experience to perform a variety of work assignments.
You will act as an informal resource for team members with less experience.
Responsibilities:
Ensure local, global, and business curriculums are assigned in line with needs and requirements.
Act as the subject matter resource for the learning system and coach employees on how to access and utilize learning resources.
Provide feedback on global curriculum and support local implementation of global Instructor Led courses, as appropriate.
Work with Course Owners/SMEs to coordinate the development of local training, as applicable.
Coordinate plant/department resources for delivery of training and optimize cost of delivery for local and global training in plant/department.
Ensure appropriate local subject matter experts review and approve plant/department specific training and learning resources and that all local learning resources are up-to-date and available.
Partner with key stakeholders to develop and maintain employee specific training schedules and plans.
Ensure all required employee training records are up-to-date and maintained.
Track compliance and communicate overdue training to deliver 100% training compliance.
Perform other audit related reporting.
Work with management of change (MOC) owners to ensure that training related requirements are achieved.
Engage in on-boarding of new employees and contractors into the plant/department.
Lead overall ODMS "maintain" efforts for the business in the department.
Coordinate and work with other ODMS support and implementation roles to "implement" and "maintain" the ODMS.
Act as the organization subject matter expert for the overall management system.
Support all element owners in the department.
Drive the Plan DO Check Act cycle of continuous improvement.
Work with Business/Department Leadership to identify organization level opportunities.
Coordinate and facilitate the Management System Reviews.
Qualification:
