Job Description This is a remote position.Job Summary: As a Senior Systems Engineer, you will manage and secure our IT infrastructure, focusing on servers, cloud technologies, and cybersecurity.You will ensure secure IT operations, support system architecture tasks, and protect sensitive data.This role requires technical expertise, proactive security measures, and efficient incident response and disaster recovery.Key Responsibilities: Server Management: Install, configure, and maintain server environments, including FSLogix, Teams, and Chrome.Troubleshooting: Handle server configurations, user access, and server pools.Virtual Environments: Set up and manage virtual environments for testing and deployment.Cybersecurity: Conduct vendor risk assessments and manage cloud-hosted solutions.Systems Operations: Update and maintain systems across various platforms, including Windows 11.Incident Response: Execute incident response plans from detection to recovery.Security Controls: Develop and implement security controls for privileged accounts.Identity Governance: Manage identity governance with principles like Least Privilege and Zero Trust.Security Audits: Manage security audits, penetration tests, and compliance assessments.SIEM Tools: Administer Security Information and Event Management tools.Application Updates: Develop strategies for critical application updates.Network Configuration: Configure network settings for performance and security.Disaster Recovery: Coordinate disaster recovery testing and business continuity planning.Threat Analysis: Perform threat analysis on VoIP applications.Device Policies: Manage device policies and configurations for security standards.Azure Cloud: Design and maintain secure Azure Cloud infrastructure and services.Software Development: Ensure secure coding practices and integration with other systems.Cost Optimization: Manage and monitor Azure resources for cost and performance.Security Services: Implement and maintain Azure security services for enhanced cybersecurity.Requirements Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.At least 5 years of experience in system administration or cybersecurity.Proficiency in managing Windows server environments and cloud technologies.Experience with SIEM tools, cybersecurity frameworks, and compliance regulations.Strong knowledge of network architectures and data protection protocols.Preferred certifications: CISSP, CISM, Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect.Proven experience with Microsoft Azure services and security practices.Desired Skills: Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.Ability to identify and mitigate security risks proactively.Strong multitasking and project management abilities.Knowledge of cloud security best practices and compliance frameworks.Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.Experience with infrastructure as code tools like ARM templates or Terraform.Knowledge of Azure monitoring and logging services for security and performance.Requirements Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.Minimum 5 years of experience in system administration, cybersecurity, or a similar role.Proficient in managing Windows server environments and cloud technologies.Experience with SIEM tools, cybersecurity frameworks, and compliance regulations.Strong understanding of network architectures and data protection protocols.Certifications in cybersecurity (CISSP, CISM), Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect, or similar credentials are highly preferred.Desired Skills: Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.Strong communication and collaboration skills.Proactive in identifying and mitigating potential security risks.Ability to handle multiple projects and lead initiatives in a dynamic environment.
