The Role Proofpoint is looking for a high energy software engineer to join the Threat Response product team. Cloud Threat Response is one of the fastest growing products at Proofpoint. It revolutionizes how customers manage the increasing volume and complexity of cyber-attacks. Engineers on the Threat Response team have a full-stack responsibility and wear multiple hats.
Design, code, review, test and deploy software features in our application stack on schedule.Collaborate well with others, be a great teammate, and help us maintain our positive culture.Support the team and production applications by resolving bugs and technical issues as part of on-call duties.Be ready to adapt and pitch in on other projects as needed.What you bring to the team Strong coding skills in Java, Python, Ruby. Unix skills is a plus. Experience working with multiple AWS resources like RDS, SQS, SNS, MSK etc. for a multi-tenant web application is highly desired. Experience with cloud-native enterprise web application development and micro-services.
