ABOUT THE ROLE:
We are looking for an experienced Senior Software Engineer to join a talented and independent team in a rapidly changing, zero-downtime environment where code is deployed multiple times a day. On top of that, you will lead all team activities, including new feature development, automation, testing and bug management. You will have full responsibility for developing features from end-to-end while planning the team's iterations in an Agile environment including development, testing and deployment. We practice continuous deployment, code reviews and automate everything in order to achieve speed, quality, and avoid repetitive tasks.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
? Collaborate with Product and technical leaders to build a compelling vision and roadmap.
? Work with Engineering and service engineering stakeholders to execute forward in a timely, efficient manner.
? Cultivate a culture of excellence on the team through a focus on execution, quality and scale
? Raise the bar on sustainable engineering by improving best practices, producing best-in-class of code, documentation, testing and monitoring.
? Build observable products that track critical metrics and application health. Monitor realtime critical business flows and address in time critical issues.
EXPERIENCE
? 3+ years of SW development experience in the field of backend engineering.
? Ability to work in Agile environments with frequent deployments using CI/CD workflows.
? Experience with large-scale SaaS production services and databases - SQL, NoSQL.
? Experience building microservices from scratch: design to production.
? B.Sc. in computer science or an equivalent.
? Advanced proficiency in written and spoken English.
? Technical Knowledge:
? APIs and Microservices – APIS REST
