We are looking for a Senior Quality Engineer to join our Azul Platform Core team.
What You'll Do (aka Responsibilities)Create test plans, develop all kinds of tests on Java for a cloud system with multiple clients connected, through both API's and rich UI interfacesRun tests, analyze failures and dive deeper to root causesParticipate in building and improving of quality assurance strategy for the system and processesWork together with product management, development and operations to analyze and improve the system's fit to its purposeWhat You'll Bring (we'll ask technical questions on the interview about these)Java coding beyond test developmentExperience in development of quality engineering or system software, automated testingBasic knowledge of data structures and algorithmsBasic knowledge of shell scriptingBasic experience in testing Web applications, Selenium/SelenideTechnical EnglishVery Nice to Have (we'll ask you to brag about experience with these)Understanding of JVM internals (Heap/Stack, Classloaders)Knowledge of Java eco-system (application servers, popular frameworks, libraries, tools)Understanding web services with both API and UI regarding architecture basics, networking security, scalability, high load, cloud deploymentExperience in building and/or testing big data systemsSpecific experience in testing for the purpose of security, certification, high load, high availability, cloud fit, or user experienceCI/CDWhat we Offer
