Our client is a leading international Biotechnology company with a state of the art aseptic manufacturing facility in Dun Laoghaire, South Dublin. The plant is one of the most dynamic in Ireland and is currently undergoing rapid expansion and capital investment.
This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience in Ireland's leading aseptic manufacturing plant.
Responsibilities: Scope, manage, and deliver projects up to €10m in value.Run projects independently with strategic guidance from management.Lead a multi-departmental team to execute projects.Ensure Safety, Quality, and Compliance are prioritized in all work.Lead project teams and interact across functional and site department groups.Manage project aspects including safety, planning, cost, schedule, risk, and communications.Work with stakeholders to scope projects and ensure requirements are satisfied.Develop and review engineering technical specifications and bid documents.Lead design and construction management of project works.Provide engineering support for manufacturing processes and equipment.Implement and maintain quality control processes.Coordinate the introduction of new equipment and drive team problem solving.Support a safe working environment by driving compliance with health/safety regulations.Supervise contingent workers as needed.Present projects to senior leadership for updates and approvals.Limited travel may be required to support project execution.Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or relevant experience.5+ years project management/engineering experience in the biotechnology industry or aseptic pharmaceutical environment.Proven project management experience from project inception through to handover.Strong mechanical capability with hands-on experience in a technical role.Demonstrated experience in a GDP Compliant environment.Proven ability to deliver technical solutions and implement improvements cross-functionally.Solid leadership skills and experience in a team environment.Technical report writing and communication/presentation skills.Ability to work to tight deadlines in a fast-moving environment.Package: Minimum 12 month contract with the possibility of an extension.
