Job Description - Senior Program Manager - Data Analytics for Body Domain (MER0003DW9) Senior Program Manager - Data Analytics in Body Domain Summary: As a Senior Program Manager, you are expected to lead a team of 20 engineers on data analytics in the body domain, which encompasses On-Board data (in ECU), Off-board Data (in Cloud), and Business Data (in tools) to develop and use data-centric products and derive value. You would be contributing to the Data Strategy to bring value to both the customer and the company with various data initiatives.
Your responsibilities would include: Contribute to the development of Data strategy within the domain.Derive aspirational & tangible goals from Data Strategy.Transfer the organizational Data goals into implementable work initiatives, identify competencies that are needed to fulfill data goals.Collaborate with other departments, divisions, or projects to achieve shared goals.Enable different functions and data roles (Data Engineer, Data Scientist, Data Steward) and lead recruitment to fulfill the needed competencies.Be accountable for the end-to-end on-time delivery of program outcomes.Plan and oversee the day-to-day running of the team and delivery of milestones aligning with agile principles and practices.Possess good communication skills and ability to work in & contribute as a good team player.Experience in the automotive field would be desirable.Exposure to a multi-cultural environment.Qualifications: Understand the data within the automotive ecosystem, i.e., On-board (in ECU), Off-board (in Cloud), & Business Data (in different tools).11-14 years of overall experience in software development including project management, requirements engineering, and system analysis.At least 1-2 years of leading people including handling appraisals, project budget planning, and critical conversations.Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science/Electrical & Electronics/Master's in Computer Applications.Excellent leadership skills and understanding of leadership.Strong technical experience in embedded software development.Good understanding of integrity and compliance value systems.OrganizationOrganization: Mercedes-Benz Research and Development India Private Limited
