Job Description - Senior Program Manager (BSW Integration) Company: Mercedes Benz Research & Development India (a subsidiary of Mercedes Benz AG)
Overview: We are looking for enthusiastic professionals with experience in Software Integration and Testing (Classic & Adaptive Autosar) for the State of the Art "Mercedes Benz Operating System" in the area of Automated Driving.
ResponsibilitiesLead ADAS BSW Integration team.Manage the technical team responsible for Autosar BSW integration and Platform Integration of Autosar Classic/Adaptive/third party stack in the AD System HW/Software platform and complete deployment on CI/CD until end vehicle release.Ensure good knowledge on Classic Autosar BSW stack and methodology and integration experience.Lead a team of about 20-25 engineers.Handle customer aspects, create and manage resources, and meet cost and quality delivery goals.Manage customer relationships and technology understanding as per organizational strategy.Responsible for the career development of the team.Oversee day-to-day operations to ensure knowledge buildup of team members, performance monitoring, and feedback.As part of the leadership team, ensure alignment and implement project strategy in line with organizational strategy.Travel globally based on business needs to participate in various supplier, management, and technical discussions.Project Management & Delivery responsibility of Software integration for complete ECU for AD systems.Stakeholder Management (Global Team, Supplier, Partners, etc.).Desired Technical SkillsGood knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).Strong working experience in CAN Stack, Diag Stack, Mem Stack, Eth Stack, CDD modules, MCAL, IOHWAB, SWC integration.Experience in developing/integrating at least 2 of the following stacks:CAN/Ethernet Communication StacksUDS Diagnostic services, DoIP Memory Stacks, and secure diagnostics.Experience with Flash bootloaders, Secure Onboard communication, and Crypto and E2E.Good knowledge of Network Management, Partial Networking concepts, OS & Multicore topologies.Knowledge of ADAS Functionalities, Autosar software integration, build systems, debugging, etc.Strong knowledge in C++, Python, CAPL.Good knowledge of CAN, FlexRay, Ethernet Protocols, Diagnostics UDS-14229.Hands-on experience with configuration management tools like GIT/Atlassian tools.Good understanding of multicore microcontrollers like Infineon Aurix & various MCAL modules.Understanding of AUTOSAR specifications and OEM specifications.Experience with SW build environment and Build process – Compilation, Linking, etc.Management SkillsExperience as SW Project Manager for Automotive ECU.Working knowledge of Agile Software development methodologies (e.g., SCRUM, SAFe).Experience preparing project plans, status reports, Sprint planning, backlog grooming, risk identification, change management, release management, and defect tracking.Experience using collaboration and team management applications; Microsoft Teams, Slack, SharePoint, etc.Understanding of SW development processes and test validation.Track record of shipping products and managing them through the entire product life cycle.Good communication and presentation skills.Excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to work with diverse teams and interact, influence, collaborate, and negotiate effectively at all levels of management.Adherence to quality processes.QualificationsMasters or Bachelors in Engineering in Electronics/Electrical/Computer Science Engineering.14+ years of overall experience in Automotive - Software Integration, Testing & Project Management.OrganizationCompany: Mercedes-Benz Research and Development India Private Limited
