Description: Mercedes Benz Research & Development India (a subsidiary of Mercedes Benz AG) is looking for young and enthusiastic professionals with experience in the area of Autosar Software Integration (Classic & Adaptive) for the State of the Art "Mercedes Benz Operating System" in the area of Automated Driving.
Responsibilities:Manage the technical team responsible for Autosar Classic/Adaptive/third party stack in the AD System HW/Software platform.Software Architecture tool know-how.Knowledge of Static & Dynamic Architecture, ECU resource management, and handling.Good knowledge on Classic Autosar & Adaptive stack and methodology with development experience.Lead a team of about 20-25 engineers.Handle customer aspects, create and manage resources, and meet cost and quality delivery goals.Maintain customer relationships and technology understanding as per organizational strategy.Responsible for the career development of the team.Oversee day-to-day operations of the group to ensure knowledge buildup, performance monitoring, and feedback.As part of the leadership team, ensure alignment and implement project strategy in line with organizational strategy.Be flexible to travel globally based on business needs to participate in various supplier, management, and technical discussions.Software Architecture responsibility for complete ECU for AD systems.Stakeholder Management (Global Team, Supplier, Partners, etc.).Desired Technical Skills:Good knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).Knowledge of ADAS Functionalities, Autosar software, debugging, etc.Understanding of AUTOSAR specifications from OEM.Experience with Flash bootloaders, Secure Onboard communication, and Crypto and E2E.Good understanding of multicore microcontrollers like Infineon Aurix & various MCAL.Strong knowledge in C++, Python, CAPL.Management Skills:Experience as SW Project Manager for Automotive ECU.Working knowledge of Agile Software development methodologies (e.g., SCRUM, SAFe).Experience preparing project plans, status reports, Sprint planning, backlog grooming, and risk identification.Understanding of SW development processes and test validation.Track record of shipping products and managing them through the entire product life cycle.Good communication and presentation skills.Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to work with diverse teams and interact, influence, collaborate, and negotiate effectively at all management levels.Adherence to Quality Processes.Qualifications:Masters or Bachelors in Engineering in Electronics/Electrical/Computer Science Engineering.Location:Primary Location: India-Karnataka-Bangalore
