Job Description - Senior Principal System Architect (ADAS) (MER00038AM) Description Lead the growth and operation of China AD Technical community
- Support the interview and recurring on recruiting technical path candidates
- Mentoring and coaching technical fellows with long term development planLead the next generation AD discussion within China AD organization Integration concept drafting
- Collect the next generation technology from different field within technical community (e.g. new sensor, SoC, AD algorithm, Map technology) and sort out the dependency and priority
- Milestone, Resource Planning for implementation and integration
- Align the design with partner domainJoin the global AD technical community, engage China solution in global technical roadmapKeep sync and lead evaluation on CN market cutting edge technology, e.g. new Lidar technology, big model application in AD domain, E2E training model design. If they are indeed valuable and if can be used for MB's long term tech pathQualifications Education
Master degree or above, major in computer engineering, information engineering, electrical engineering, automation engineering or a related engineering field;
Experience
- More than 7 years of AD Domain Experience
- More than 5 years of relevant work experience as technical lead or lead architect role
- At least lead more than one L2+ AD project into series launch successfully
Knowledge
- Proficient in automotive electronics industry systems, processes, standards, and toolchains; have an in-depth understanding and insights into the development trends of automotive products and technologies
- Good understanding on Automotive Operating Systems such as Linux, QNX;
- Good understanding in ADAS functional development process;
- Good knowledge in AD Algorithm, AD Data backend & Toolchain, AD Product Feature Design, Base Software (AutoSAR Framework + DriveOS), Typical ADAS Sensor (Camera, Radar, Lidar, IMU etc.)
- Proficient knowledge and working experience in at least 3 of the above-mentioned fields. AD algorithm and data close loop & toolchain are mandatory
- Has teamwork spirit, willing to share, able to self-motivate, and influences and leads the team with a positive, hardworking, and optimistic attitude
- Fluent in English, German is a plus
