What you will do
Overall:
1. Manage and oversee all phases of the project lifecycle, from initiation through closure;
2. Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget;
3. Develop comprehensive project plans, including resource allocation, scheduling, and risk management;
4. Facilitate communication and collaboration among project stakeholders to ensure alignment and transparency;
5. Set up processes to ensure successful delivery;
6. Successfully lead and lend expertise to motivate the development team;
7. Identify critical delivery issues and address them with the team before customer exposure;
8. Communicate team issues and concerns to the leadership team;
Client ownership:
1.
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle;
2. Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring their needs and expectations are met or exceeded;
3. Conduct regular status meetings and provide detailed project updates to clients;
4. Manage client feedback and address any issues or concerns promptly and effectively;
Financial account management:
1. Develop and manage project estimates, budgets, ensuring financial goals are achieved;
2. Monitor project financials, including expenses, revenue, and profitability;
3. Prepare financial reports and forecasts for internal and client review;
4. Monitoring and ensuring account healthy margin;
Project management / Delivery:
1. Lead project teams in the planning, execution, and delivery of projects;
2. Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders;
3. Utilize project management methodologies and best practices to ensure successful project outcomes;
4. Identify and mitigate project risks, resolving issues as they arise;
5.
Monitoring of Client's satisfaction with AgileEngine services and team;
Resource Management and Financial Control:
1. Expectation and Escalation management;
2. Technical Excellence and Best Practice implementation;
3. Process Excellence (Disciplined Agile) and Best Practices implementation;
4. Removal of process bottlenecks and resolving issues;
5. Help with improving the PM processes for existing projects;
Team management:
1. Coordinate and oversee the work of project team members, including assigning tasks and setting deadlines;
2. Foster a collaborative and productive team environment, promoting professional growth and development;
3. Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to team members;
4. Launch teams and establish efficient PM processes for them;
5.
Consult/Mentor/Teach/Coach/Growing leadership of AgileEngine Teams and Clients;
6. Ensuring Team happiness: 1:1s, career development, personal development plans;
7. Coordinating promotions: within AgileEngine and with the Client;
8. Coordinate recruiting process with the Recruitment team.
Must haves
1. Bachelor's Degree in Project Management, Computer Science or related field, or relevant work experience;
2. A minimum of 6 years of experience in project management, with a focus on fixed price and short-term projects, pre-sale experience;
3. Demonstrated experience in managing projects from start to end, including inceptions and pre-sales activities;
4. Experience working cross-functionally with groups like Software Developers, Delivery/Project Managers, and Account Managers;
5. Proven ability to prepare detailed proposals and manage pre-sales processes;
6. Strong financial knowledge,
with experience in managing project budgets and financial reporting;
7. High level of organization, planning, prioritization and attention to detail;
8. Strong team orientation, maintain partnerships, collaborate and influence across multiple stakeholders;
9. Excellent client management skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships;
10. Proficiency in project management software and tools;
11. Exceptional communication, organizational, and leadership skills;
12. Upper-intermediate English level.
