Responsibilities: Perform day-to-day support, administration, and maintenance of the ServiceNow platform including mid-servers and integration points. Work directly with end users to troubleshoot and resolve support issues. Gather, identify, and document business requirements. Develop clear and concise technical and process documentation. Develop, install, and troubleshoot ServiceNow applications with possible integration with other programs. Troubleshoot bugs, fix defects, support users, and build enhancements for applications built on the platform. Perform code reviews to ensure that quality is met regarding coding standards, integration, extensibility, and security. Assist in maintaining detailed documentation of application design and code generation techniques used to train other developers on ServiceNow system software. Ensure that the software behaves as designed by testing it for bugs and performance during all stages of the development process. Provide guidance within the platform to design and implement ongoing improvements for a portfolio of processes. Duties and responsibilities can be any combination of development as it relates to ServiceNow modules, tables, and system policies. Develop reports for management on SLAs/KPIs as they pertain to service delivery. Manage integration between ServiceNow and other systems/platforms using both mid-servers and cloud-to-cloud. Work with Web Services Integration (SOAP, REST) and any bi-directional, automated integration between two systems. Work with architects to define the physical design, and with analysts and product managers to understand the requirements of technical solutions. Develop and test application code, user interface, and third-party integration components using prescribed application development guidelines. Monitor health, usage, and overall compliance of ServiceNow and its applications; coordinates application and platform upgrades. Evaluate and make recommendations on techniques, practices, or technologies that would enhance our needs. Train the junior members of the team on subject matter expertise to ensure continuous learning.
