Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy LAN / WAN network infrastructure
- Provide 3rd level troubleshooting for all LAN / WAN alerts and issues
- Maintain all monitoring and reporting systems
- Produce and maintain documentation for all systems deployed
- Perform on-call duty for non-business hours support as per shift assignments
- Perform administrative tasks pertaining to time entry and status reporting
- Configure and install various network devices and services
- Perform network maintenance and system upgrades
- Monitor performance, system availability, and reliability
- Monitor system resource utilization, trending, and capacity planning
- Work within established configuration and change management policies
- Implement security tools,
policies, and procedures
- Liaise with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution
- Maintain 24x7 availability for support
- Conduct technical trainings to internal resources
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in a network support role
- CCNP Certification required
- B.A. Degree / B.S. Degree in a relevant field
- Azure / cloud-based networking expertise
- Experience with SDWAN, Cisco Firepower preferred
- Experience in troubleshooting complex network issues
- Proficiency in configuring and troubleshooting Cisco network devices
- Experience with Next Gen Firewalls, Cisco ISE, and wireless technologies
- Knowledge of routing protocols, LAN switching, and TCP / IP protocol suite
- Experience with network security practices
- Experience with firewall cloud services, Zscaler preferred
- Familiarity with applications such as SAP, Citrix, Portal, etc
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Fluent English communication skills at a B2+ level
Nice to have
- Additional certifications such as CCIE
- Experience in a global network environment
- Proficiency in additional network technologies and protocols
