Senior MERN Software EngineerHi there! We are looking for a Senior MERN Full Stack Developer to join a fast-growing team of developers building revenue management and pricing tools for short-term rental operations. Primary Responsibilities:Design and implement build procedures to support software product development and use.Understand requirements and functional specifications, and write well-designed, testable, efficient code.Solve complex technical issues.Ensure individual application projects are delivered within defined timelines.Actively participate in communication to understand functional requirements.Provide technical assistance to junior team members.Maintain high standards of quality for code, documentation, and other deliverables.Adhere to industry best practices and contribute to internal coding standards.Basic Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline and five (5) years of relevant experience ORAdvanced degree and four (4) years of relevant experience ORIn the absence of a degree, seven (7+) years of relevant experience.Proficiency in analysis, design, and development of applications.Ability to develop/modify software based on functional specifications.Experience in test planning & unit tests (Experience with Cypress and/or Jest preferred).Good communication and presentation skills in English and Spanish (verbal and written).Experience with AWS platform and services.Hands-on experience with JavaScript Development on both client and server-side.Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, jQuery.In-depth knowledge of Node JS, MongoDB, and React JS.Experience with modern frameworks and design patterns.Experience in Version control systems like GIT.Analytical and logical skills.* Salary and/or hourly rate compensation will be determined by the relevant experience of the candidate.
