Position Summary The Business Strategy Manager's primary roles are to develop and facilitate strategy development and strategic planning, and to identify, evaluate, and implement business initiatives. This person will drive the strategic planning process and manage or own key strategic initiatives. This position reports to the VP of Strategy & Corporate Development and will work with stakeholders across AMB Sports & Entertainment.
Roles and Responsibilities Conduct research and work with relevant stakeholders to identify and then evaluate opportunities to drive profit growth, improve processes, and elevate the fan experience.Conduct ad hoc ROI and project feasibility analysis.Develop KPIs and manage the ongoing tracking of strategic projects.Lead the strategy development and strategic planning processes for AMBSE and its business units.Own the development, communication, and implementation of the AMBSE strategy.Gather data and present appropriate analysis to support key business functions. This person will be expected to provide concise, proactive, and timely analysis and insights to drive business decisions.Analyze data from disparate sources, using various quantitative and qualitative methods, to inform executive-level decision-making.Qualifications and Education Requirements Bachelor's Degree required.2+ years of experience at top tier management consulting firm (McKinsey, BCG, Bain) or in corporate strategy role at large company.Proficient in financial and project-based ROI analysis (proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint required).Highly capable problem solver, able to work on complex problems requiring strong analytical, conceptual, and quantitative ability.Experience working with financial statements and budgeting.Ability to understand all key business functions, including sales and marketing, operations, procurement, finance, human resources, etc.Able to draw conclusions from imperfect information.Has experience succinctly communicating complex thoughts through visual storytelling.Has strong analytical abilities and experience performing, understanding, and applying financial models.Experience in sports or entertainment a plus.
