Job Description
As a Senior Front-End Developer, you'll be the architect of our user experience! You'll translate designs into beautiful, functional web applications and user interfaces. Collaborating closely with designers and back-end engineers, you'll ensure a seamless and delightful experience for our users.
Responsibilities:
Translate design mockups and prototypes into high-quality, responsive web application interfaces.
Develop and implement new features using modern front-end frameworks and best practices.
Ensure code maintainability, readability, and adherence to coding standards.
Optimize web applications for performance and scalability.
Collaborate with designers and product managers to understand user needs and translate them into a seamless user experience.
Integrate front-end components with back-end APIs and services.
Implement unit tests and participate in code reviews to ensure code quality.
Stay up-to-date on the latest front-end technologies and trends.
Contribute to the development process within an Agile methodology.
Consider security best practices throughout the development process.
Design and develop user interfaces for features like user accounts, subscriptions, and billing.
Qualifications
Proven experience building and deploying web applications and SaaS products.
Mastery of front-end development languages (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) with a focus on modern frameworks (React, Angular, Vue.js preferred).
In-depth understanding of UI/UX principles and best practices for responsive design.
Experience with web accessibility (WCAG) guidelines.
Familiarity with API integrations and data fetching techniques.
Experience with build tools (Webpack, Gulp) and version control systems (Git).
English is desirable, however is not mandatory.
Compensation: CAD $2,000 - $3,500
