IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL Lead financial planning/forecast and budget reviews with key stakeholders throughout the year;Participate in month-end closing activities including accruals and reconciliations ensuring accuracy and timeliness;Prepare annual budgets as well as financial forecasts throughout the year;Conduct budget reviews with key stakeholders;Coordinate the organization's accounting structure and areas of focus;Perform analyses, deviations, findings, and interpreting trends requiring management's attention;Partner with business partners and other key stakeholders;Develop consolidated management reporting and business performance reviews;Ensure compliance with statutory law and financial regulations;Develop and document applicable policies and business processes to strengthen internal controls;Develop and expand financial reporting in our internal Power Bi-Dashboard;Act as a business partner for other teams to support improvement of processes;Prepare financial and management reports and procedures on a local and consolidated level;Advise and support the business in areas related to future state financial performance;Improve the quality of internal and external financial data to drive business decision-making;Support finance-related activities for relevant cost centers including systems maintenance and contracts;Demonstrate a strong ability to learn and adapt in a fast-paced business organization with a hybrid setup;Exhibit a hands-on and collaborative mindset;Possess a proactive personality that gets things done;Hold a degree in business studies and a recognized finance degree (CPA or equivalent);Have 5+ years of experience in a finance controller and/or finance business partner role(s);Have experience leading the creation and analysis of financial management reporting;Demonstrate proven experience with forecast and planning, month-end, and year-end close processes;Exhibit strong communication skills and excellent stakeholder management skills;Possess advanced MS Excel skills;Have excellent written and verbal Portuguese (C2) and English (C1) skills.THIS IS WHAT OUR PROCESS LOOKS LIKEScreening call with our recruiter to get to know your motivation & your experience;Technical interview (of 1h);2nd Interview (of 1h);Culture Interview (of 1h).WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO KNOW ABOUT US Mercedes-Benz.io develops software and technology for the digital platforms of Mercedes-Benz.
