Job description:We're looking for a talented Drupal developer to help with critical work on our public website. Your contributions will directly impact our client's organization's ability to attract great teachers to our country's highest-need school districts. This is a chance to make meaningful changes on a highly visible website.You will work as part of an agile development team composed of other talented Drupal developers, quality assurance experts, business analysts, UX developers, and others. The team is responsible for designing, building, and maintaining digital platforms and user experiences.We are looking for someone who is a good communicator, a strong Drupal developer,good at working independently or collaborating with others on the team, and who can take ownership of their work and persevere through obstacles when they come up. A strong candidate will have a positive attitude, be an active problem solver, and will treat other team members with respect.Responsibilities:- Develop solutions for business requirements in the Drupal content management system (and potentially other content management systems in the future).- Develop using JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and other libraries and frameworks.- Strive to ensure interfaces meet WCAG standards for accessibility.- Participate in all aspects of the agile software development cycle (including scrum processes, assessment, planning, design, development, testing, and support).Requirements:- You have expertise in front end development using HTML, JavaScript, CSS, and SASS.- You have expertise in building Drupal custom theme and design components based on UX/UI Designs.- You have experience in web based content management systems,with specific knowledge of developing solutions in Drupal and PHP (preferably Drupal 9)- You have expertise in upgrading PHP and Drupal Core.- You have experience with component-based systems (such as Pattern Lab) and templating languages (such as twig)- You have expertise in building components using paragraphs module.- When working closely with the Web Designer or Product team, you're comfortable ensuring the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs,- You have some knowledge of agile methodologies and how they work- Experience or knowledge of web accessibility is a plus- You're comfortable with Git and version control systems like bitbucket or GitHub.Minimum experience:5+ years of experience.Soft Skills:- Upper-intermediate or Advanced English proficiency.- Open to learning new technologies.- Hability to write clean and maintainable code following best practices.Education:- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.Important (Must haves):- The candidate must know how to write new code from scratch.- Experience working with component-based theme-Pattern Lab.- Must have experience with PHP and be familiar with Drupal.Job Types: Full-time, ContractContract length: 12 monthsPay: $5,000,000.00 per monthExperience:- Drupal: 5 years (Required)- Pattern Labs: 1 year (Required)Language:- English (Required)#J-18808-Ljbffr
