As a member of our Core foundational platforms Operations Engineering Database Management team, you have the opportunity to learn – and make a difference – at one of the world's most innovative financial firms.
In this role, you'll gain critical experience analyzing, designing, installing and configuring database management systems.

Your responsibilities will span monitoring, incident management, risk control, performance tuning, patching, upgrades and migration.

This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:
B.Tech/MCA Degree or equivalent experienceStrong experience with configuration and advance features of SQL ServerExperience with SQL Version 2008/2012/2016/2019 and exposure to MSSQL on Linux.Strong experience with SQL Server clusters with multiple nodes on each cluster, mirroring, logshipping, Always-on and other methods of disaster recoveryMigration of SQL Server databases from on Prem to Public Cloud and administrating MSSQL DB's in Public CloudExperience with SSIS packages, SSRS and SSASKnowledge of SAN, VM's, security, capacity planning, backup and recoverySolid skills in database performance tuning, optimizing queries and stored proceduresSoftware development experience in one or more general purpose programming languages: Python, SQL Scripting, Powershell Scripting and/or Perl/YAML (preferably).
