About the Role
CaptivateIQ is looking for a Senior Product Data Scientist to join our team. In this role you will be responsible for translating complex business, product, and technical questions into actionable quantitative analysis, helping to inform decision making and measure outcomes. Candidates should be comfortable identifying key metrics, collecting, transforming, and analyzing data, building visualizations, and communicating findings cross-functionally.
This is a high visibility role with the potential to heavily influence our strategy. Candidates should be self-motivated, product-minded, and have a strong drive for impact.In this role you will:
Leverage SQL and other languages to aggregate, shape, structure and analyze dataSupport ETL development and other data infrastructureCreate dashboards and other summary visualizations to support decision-making for product and operational teamsPerform a variety of exploratory analyses that help us understand our products and customers to identify opportunities for improvementLeverage data to build business cases for product features and business prioritiesRequirements:
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skillsAdvanced proficiency with SQL; Excel and Python is a plusExperience with data manipulation, exploratory analysis and ETLsExperience with visualization and dashboard development and maintenanceProficiency with BI solutions such as Tableau, Looker, Mode, PowerBI, Metabase etc.Strong communication skills with emphasis on efficient synthesis of complex topics and dissemination of actionable takeawaysAbility to adapt and work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic, and deadline-oriented environment4+ years experience as a data analyst, data engineer or related roleBA/BS degree, ideally in computer science, math or another quantitative fieldBenefits:
