THE OPPORTUNITY We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Data Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will primarily work with the Labware LIMS system and will have expert knowledge in Labware BASIC, advanced SQL, and master data management. Experience with Labware LIMS will be considered a significant advantage.
RESPONSIBILITIES Labware LIMS Configuration: Perform configuration-based work within the Labware LIMS system to meet business requirements.Programming in Labware BASIC: Utilize Labware BASIC for customization and development of new functionality within the LIMS system.Advanced SQL: Develop complex SQL queries to extract, manipulate, and analyze data from various sources.Master Data Management: Implement and manage master data solutions to ensure high-quality and reliable data within the LIMS system.Documentation and Training: Create detailed documentation of configurations and customizations and provide training to end-users and other team members.Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including IT, laboratory personnel, and business units to understand their needs and translate them into technical solutions.SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.Knowledge of at least 1 programming language.Extensive experience in SQL, schema design, dimensional modeling & SQL optimization.Familiarity with data integration tools and techniques.Strong understanding of data management principles (Engineering, governance, MDM, ...).Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.Preferred Qualifications: Proficiency in Labware BASIC and advanced SQL.Hands-on experience with configuration and customization of Labware LIMS.Experience with Labware LIMS system, including its modules and functionalities.Knowledge of laboratory workflows and processes.Prior experience in a pharma/biotech environment.Locations MEX - Santa Fe
