About The Role An exceptional opportunity for an experienced and strategically-minded lawyer to lead an employment and labor law practice within a dynamic, hyper-growth company. Collaborating with our Head of Legal, the ideal candidate will be instrumental in creating and steering a world-class legal framework that supports our expanding international presence.
What You'll Do Lead Invisible's employment, labor and compliance practice: Responsible for leading the Company's global employment and Labor strategy.Strategic Thinking: Identify potential risks and strategic opportunities in our global markets to fortify our compliance posture and maintain our gold-standard approach to marketplace work.Compliance Framework: Maintain a robust and global labor compliance framework that enables seamless proactive adjustments in response to evolving regulations across jurisdictions.Global Regulatory Changing Landscape: Keep abreast with the changing regulatory state in AI and Marketplace compliance.Training and Support: Develop and deliver comprehensive employment and compliance training programs tailored to the needs of relevant verticals within our business.What We Need Deep Expertise in International Employment and Labor Law: Possess a thorough understanding of complex labor and tax regulations across various jurisdictions, crucial for managing compliance in a multinational landscape.Proven Compliance Experience: Deep experience developing and executing effective labor compliance strategies within multinational corporations.Innovative mindset, roll-up your sleeves mentality: Looking for a true legal thought partner - this role will provide the requisite individual with autonomy to lead, build, innovate and drive a worldwide market-leading solution to complex international marketplace, talent and mobility situations.Analytical and Strategic Acumen: Strong analytical skills coupled with the ability to engage in high-level strategic planning and execution, particularly in dynamic and fast-paced environments, dealing with stakeholders across all verticals of our business.Exceptional Communication and Instructional Skills: Outstanding ability to communicate complex legal and tax concepts clearly and effectively, coupled with the skills to develop and facilitate engaging training sessions for diverse audiences.Industry Insight: Familiarity with the tech-enabled services sector, including understanding the unique labor marketplace dynamics and associated regulatory challenges, is essential.Minimum 5+ years experience in employment and/or labor law and experience working on international talent mobility.What's In It For You We believe in recognizing exceptional work with exceptional benefits. Compensation: Base: $170,000Base + Bonus Target: $250,000This role is eligible to participate in Invisible's equity plan.The amount listed above is the expected annual base salary for this role, subject to change.
