The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial analysis, investment strategies, and portfolio management.
The successful candidate will possess excellent quantitative skills, a deep understanding of financial markets, and the ability to make data-driven decisions.
Reporting line: Head of Business Development Location: anywhere Worksite: remote Responsibilities Holistic ownership and understanding of client accounts from an operations perspective, trade lifecycle and act as a single point of contact for the business for any liquidity related issues.
Daily cash forecasting in multi-currency portfolios to include overdraft monitoring and fund liquidity reporting.
Trading desk support to include ad-hoc queries as well as ongoing business initiatives.
Liaise with traders to ensure efficient settlement of trading activity.
Proactively review indicators of operational issues/concerns with the goal of resolving such issues before client impact.
Review account level metrics (i.e.
reconciling items on cash/position reconciliations, failing trades, etc.)
as defined by operating standards and research, escalate, remediate exceptions as appropriate.
Monitor of actual/realised incoming and outgoing cash payments and bond/securities settlements, including high-value and (very) critical payments.
Evaluate (recurring) overdrafts in order to prevent them in the future.
Execute ad-hoc management reports.
Requirements Bachelor's degree in Finances, Mathematics or a related field Significant experience in Financial Services Operations Strong quantitative skills, including the knowledge of Microsoft Excel VBA, SQL and Python/R Experience and understanding of financial products, in particular, fixed income, stocks, FX, derivatives Excellent analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Ability to perform deep analysis of large volumes of data and streamline results to reporting formats.
