We are a fast-growing company seeking a highly skilled Senior Back-End Engineer to join our team in Lahore, Pakistan, in a hybrid setup that combines the flexibility of remote work with the collaboration benefits of in-office presence.
Position Overview We are looking for a seasoned back-end engineer with expertise in Django (Python), AWS, and AI-driven projects (e.g., LLMs like ChatGPT or LLaMA).
The ideal candidate also has experience developing SaaS products with integrated billing modules.
This role requires in-office presence every other day in Lahore, Pakistan, to foster collaboration while retaining the flexibility of remote work.
Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain scalable back-end services using Django (Python).
Develop and optimize integrations with billing modules and payment gateways for SaaS platforms.
Architect and deploy solutions on AWS, leveraging services like Lambda, S3, EC2, and RDS.
Lead the development of major product features and ensure their successful delivery.
Implement AI-driven features utilizing LLMs and machine learning frameworks.
Collaborate in-office with team members to brainstorm and align on product goals.
Mentor junior engineers and foster a culture of innovation and technical excellence.
Conduct code reviews, participate in technical discussions, and drive architectural decisions.
Maintain high coding standards, rigorous testing, and detailed documentation.
Ideal Candidate Experience: 7+ years of experience in back-end development, with a focus on SaaS products.
Expertise in Django (Python) and scalable system design in AWS environments.
Hands-on experience with billing modules (e.g., Stripe, PayPal, or custom solutions).
Proven experience in AI-driven projects involving LLMs like ChatGPT or LLaMA.
Experience with integrating OpenAI APIs would be a plus.
Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of database management and optimization (MySQL).
Familiarity with APIs, third-party integrations, and asynchronous processing.
Experience with containerization tools like Docker or Kubernetes is a plus.
Strong knowledge of Amazon Web Services.
