Job Overview The HR Total Rewards team is currently navigating a critical challenge: a significant year-over-year increase in benefit costs, coupled with the ongoing need to enhance employee experience to meet evolving demands and adapt to demographic shifts. Additionally, the diverse generations within our workforce have distinct needs and expectations regarding benefits. This position will be key in identifying and understanding these diverse needs and working with external partners to recommend solutions that enhance employee satisfaction while balancing costs effectively for the company.
Responsibilities Analyze data on the utilization of existing employee benefits programs to identify patterns, trends, and areas for improvement.Research and evaluate market trends in employee benefits to ensure our offerings remain competitive and aligned with industry standards.Collaborate with external benefit providers to gather relevant data, market insights, and analyze new products to recommend potential enhancements or changes to our benefit offerings.Work closely with external partners to evaluate new benefit products and services, providing data-driven recommendations to internal stakeholders.Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and data visualizations to monitor the performance of benefit offerings and their impact on employee engagement and satisfaction.Assist in conducting benchmarking studies and cost-benefit analyses to determine the effectiveness of current programs and recommend adjustments as needed.Support the HR Compensation & Benefits team in identifying opportunities to enhance the employee experience while balancing the financial impact on the company.Participate in the development and implementation of surveys and data collection methods to assess employee needs and preferences regarding benefits across different generations.Ensure data accuracy and integrity, maintaining compliance with company policies and industry regulations in all reporting and analysis efforts.Qualifications & Skills/Competencies Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Data Analytics, Economics, or a related field.2+ years of relevant experience.Strong analytical skills and a passion for using data to drive informed business decisions.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data visualization tools; basic knowledge of statistical analysis is a plus.Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex data findings in a clear and actionable manner to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.Ability to collaborate effectively with external partners and internal teams to gather and share relevant data and insights.Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of managing multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.A proactive mindset, with a focus on continuous improvement and innovation in employee benefits.EEO Statement Mercedes-Benz USA is committed to fostering an inclusive environment that appreciates and leverages the diversity of our team.
