Libertador 6343 piso 4 (Belgrano /Capital Federal) Responsibilities Complex Account Reconciliations: Supervise and review detailed reconciliations for all general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
Month-End Close Procedures: Oversee and streamline month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
Audit Coordination: Lead interactions with external auditors.
Compile audit testing support and ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.
Management and External Reporting: Prepare and present financial reports and analysis to management and outside stakeholders, highlighting key financial metrics and insights.
Process Documentation and Internal Controls: Maintain documentation for accounting procedures and internal controls, ensuring adherence to best practices and regulatory requirements.
Transactional Processing: Review recurring transactional activity and ensure accurate and efficient processing of financial transactions.
Inventory Accounting Management: Oversee inventory accounting, including cost analysis, inventory valuations, and reconciliations.
Ensure accurate tracking and reporting of manufacturing inventory and finished goods.
Transfer Pricing: Manage transfer pricing policies and documentation in compliance with international regulations.
Monitor intercompany transactions to ensure proper pricing and reporting.
Software Capitalization: Manage the capitalization of software and other intangible assets, ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and accurate financial reporting.
Foreign Exchange Management: Oversee foreign exchange transactions and accounting, including the management of currency exposures and impact on financial statements.
Joint Ventures: Oversee accounting for joint ventures, including the recognition of investments, equity method accounting, and consolidation processes.
Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements within the accounting function, implement best practices, and drive operational efficiencies.
Strategic Planning Support: Collaborate with senior management on financial planning and analysis, supporting strategic decision-making with accurate financial data and insights.
Requirements and Qualifications 7+ years of accounting and/or audit experience with an inventory-manufacturing business, CPA strongly preferred Strong, in-depth knowledge of US GAAP, SOX/internal controls, and financial statement preparation.
