As a Senior Accountant, you will be part of a dynamic accounting team responsible for maintaining the General Ledger, completing the monthly closing of the books, automation and scaling your processes, supporting the annual audit, and providing reports that flow into leadership and strategic decision making. You will partner with other members of the finance and accounting teams and strive to attain a high level of accuracy in your work. This role requires a combination of heads-down data analysis, technical accounting, and effective communication skills that frame findings and escalate risks appropriately to leadership. What you'll doPartner with the HR team and manage payroll cycles to ensure timely processing of the Company's payroll disbursementsAnalyze changes in payroll and communicate new hires, terminations, and any other fluctuationsRecord and process benefit accruals and related allocationsAssist in month-end and quarterly closes, including preparing journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, including bank reconciliations, accounts payable input coding and approval routing, AR Cash Application, fixed assets, and prepaid expenses and monthly accrualsPerform Analysis such as budget to actual, monthly, and quarterly changes.Provide support for Tax and Annual Big 4 Audit through schedule preparation and footnote support.Handle all respects of the expense reimbursement in accordance with the T&E policy; Review and resolve any issues concerning the Company's corporate credit card program and book related expensesPrepare cash forecast and provide analysis on cash inflows and outflows and explain variance from forecastSupport regular business reviewsMaintain Stock based compensation expenses in the general ledger via Carta ReportingReview foreign subsidiaries' AP and payroll transactions, and perform entity consolidation and FX translationAd Hoc projectsWhat you'll need3+ years in an accounting role, with experience in reconciliation, payroll, and auditBachelor's degree in accountingExperience with Sage Intacct and ADP preferredStrong skills in G-Suite (Sheets) and/or Microsoft ExcelSelf-motivated with a strong desire to learn and take on new initiativesPublic Accounting experience a plusSoftware experience and ASC606 a plusHyper-Growth startup experience a plusBenefitsCompetitive compensationStock optionsHealthcare for the family groupWellness perksMac equipmentLearning & development stipend3 weeks of vacationEnglish lessonsASAPP is committed to creating a diverse environment and is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
