Job description:
Contribution to Nissan business profitability through generation with supplier base the better performance, using internal processes and relationships, respecting Ethic Code conducts.
To secure parts supply used by Nissan, with the best price possible, under established timing and quality.
Responsibilities: Provide purchasing service to Nissan, not only securing the production line supply but also obtaining the best result (quality, cost, and timing). Manage performance: cost reduction action plan building, analyzing, comparing, and benchmarking prices. Organize cross-functional activities to support target achievement. Analyze supplier quotations and cost breakdown to ensure competitiveness. Be the interface and support with other related business areas (Cost control, R&D, Logistics, Quality, etc.). Facilitate inside the company to understand the roadblocks, propose solutions, and escalate situations. Build commodity reports. Be the direct contact with suppliers. Knowledge/Skills: Experience in negotiations and contact with suppliers. Organization. Working under pressure. Software Knowledge: Advanced Microsoft package (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). SAP (wished, not mandatory). Experience: 2 or more years of experience in big industries purchasing areas. Preference: automotive sector. Education: University degree: Business administration, COMEX, Industrial engineering, or others. Languages: Fluent English. Intermediate Portuguese (wished, not mandatory).
