ResponsibilitiesThe Semi-Senior QA Automation position requires a candidate with a strong background in both manual and automated testing of web applications.The ideal candidate should be proficient in HTTP, RESTful APIs, and the interpretation of API documentation.
They must have experience with TypeScript, Playwright, and Git for writing and managing automated test scripts.Familiarity with tools like Postman and Swagger UI for API testing is essential.
Additionally, knowledge of SQL, Azure Application Insights, and Datadog for performance monitoring and debugging is a plus.The role involves collaborating with development and product teams, creating comprehensive test plans, and staying updated with industry trends and best practices in QA and automation testing.Skills and QualificationsHTTP (mandatory): Proficient in understanding and utilizing HTTP protocols for web communication.RESTful API (mandatory): Skilled in testing and validating RESTful APIs to ensure proper functionality and performance.Interpretation of API documentation (mandatory): Capable of reading and comprehending API documentation to effectively test and troubleshoot issues.SQL (nice to have): Basic knowledge of SQL for querying databases and validating data integrity.Azure Application Insights (nice to have): Familiar with using Azure Application Insights for monitoring and diagnosing application performance.Postman/Swagger UI (mandatory): Experienced in using Postman and Swagger UI for API testing and documentation.TypeScript (mandatory): Proficient in using TypeScript for writing automated test scripts.Playwright (mandatory): Experienced in using Playwright for end-to-end testing of web applications.Git (mandatory): Knowledgeable in using Git for version control and collaboration on test scripts.Interpretation of logs and call stacks in Datadog (nice to have): Able to analyze logs and call stacks in Datadog for debugging and performance monitoring.Basic programming knowledge (nice to have): Understanding of basic programming concepts, especially related to back-end services, as TaxHub is a web service and most discussions revolve around the back-end.Additional SkillsUnderstand the importance of correct information management.Knowledge of information security and data protection.Correct information security management.Required SkillsAccepting Feedback, Active Listening, Communication, Financial Modeling, Financial Statement Analysis, Inclusion, Intellectual Curiosity, Optimism, Structured Transactions, Tax Accounting, Tax Auditing, Tax Compliance, Tax Dispute Resolution, and more.
