Your role and responsibilities In this role, you will have the opportunity to be responsible for the sale of robotics systems, robots, software and hardware within the T1, Food & Beverage and Automotive segments, in line with the industry segment strategy. Each day, you will achieve both qualitative and quantitative sales targets to ensure sustainable order growth, revenue, profitability, market share, and customer satisfaction. You will also showcase your expertise by identifying and developing new sales opportunities within the assigned segment, as well as being a focal point with our existing and potential customers. The work model for the role is: Hybrid. This role is contributing to the Industries Business Line for the Robotics Business Area in Argentina. Your main stakeholders will be both internal teams as well as our existing customer base and new potential customers. You will be mainly accountable for:
Generating business opportunities and closing sales with customers from various industries segments, like food & beverage, automotive, tier1 and general industries, focusing on volume, mix and profitability targets for Robotics business (products and solutions). Establishing and maintaining effective customer relationships to understand their needs, promote a consultative sales approach, providing a detailed solution ensuring positive customer experience throughout the sales process. Preparing sales plans using company tools. Performing regular progress reviews and proposing recovery plan(s) in cases of potential order shortfalls. Creating added value for the customer and ABB and ensuring the successful outcome of transactions, contracts and proposals by using effective sales techniques. Identifying and driving the development of new market opportunities in the designated market and ensuring knowhow sharing and cross-collaboration. Qualifications for the role You have a degree in Engineering, preferably from the Mechatronic, Automation or Electrical fields, and enjoy working in sales. You have over 6 years of experience in sales within the Tier 1, Automotive or Food & Beverage industries, as a sales responsible, desirably in the selling of robotics solutions and systems, or robots. You have experience with tools such as Salesforce, PowerBI, SAP and Excel with cost spreadsheets. You feel at ease communicating in English, and speak Spanish fluently, being able to hold casual and business conversations in both languages. You are a collaborative and communicative person, highly driven, autonomous, independent and organized.
