Responsibilities Design and implement security policies, protocols, and standards that safeguard data integrity and confidentiality across the organization. Document incident response procedures and maintain security protocols. Conduct regular security audits and prepare compliance reports. Perform daily security monitoring and vulnerability assessments. Coordinate incident response efforts and provide security awareness training for employees. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or related field; CISSP, CISM, or CEH certification preferred. 10+ years of experience in cybersecurity or information security roles. Strong skills in threat analysis, vulnerability assessment, risk management, incident response, and knowledge of security frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO/IEC 27001). Proficiency with security tools such as SIEM, firewalls, IDS/IPS systems, and endpoint protection solutions. Proven experience with incident response, risk assessment, and a strong understanding of regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA). Analytical thinking, strong attention to detail, and proactive problem-solving. Effective written and verbal communication skills in English. Remote working experience. Minimal travel, primarily for annual team meetings or occasional site assessments. Flexible work schedule with a preference for EST time zone. Nice to have Experience with cloud security (AWS, Azure), and familiarity with DevSecOps practices. Advanced scripting knowledge.
