We are seeking a highly skilled Security Manager with deep expertise in threat hunting, incident management, and overall security practices. This is a remote position open to candidates from any part of LATAM . Requirements Extensive, proven experience in threat hunting, incident management, and overall security practices. Strong background in cybersecurity, with knowledge of security frameworks, tools, and technologies. Demonstrated experience in a similar role, ideally within a high-risk, high-security environment. Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex security concepts to various stakeholders.
Ability to consult on the architecture and design of technical controls across infrastructure and application development, including third-party vendors. Experience in performing regular risk analysis, scoring, and evaluating the security state of the enterprise. Capable of writing business justifications and managing budget artifacts. Collaborative mindset, working with other departments to integrate security best practices. Advanced English. Main activities Lead a team of security professionals, setting clear objectives and managing workload through a business and risk lens. Proactively identify and mitigate potential security threats before they can cause harm. Oversee the entire incident response lifecycle, from detection and analysis to containment, eradication, and recovery. Build and refine security systems and processes, implementing technical, people, and audit controls to mitigate risk for the enterprise. Implement and refine security monitoring strategies to detect anomalies and potential breaches in real-time. Develop and update a comprehensive cybersecurity strategy that aligns with business goals. Ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks,
including PCI and SOX, using an ISO/ITIL framework lens. Oversee the implementation of security policies, standards, and guidelines to secure the organization. Guide the development and maintenance of incident response and disaster recovery plans. Stay abreast of the latest security trends, threats, and technologies, continuously improving the effectiveness of security controls. Education Computer Science/Information Technology Bachelor's Degree or equivalent.
