Your RoleThe position of Operational Care Expert, Documentation requires responsibilities to ensure operational excellence, focusing on the export and import processes in maritime logistics. This role includes monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs), strengthening relationships with carriers, and collaborating with Customer Service departments to ensure approvals and compliance with safety and commercial control standards. The ideal candidate should have strong attention to detail, analytical skills, effective communication, and the ability to work as part of a team.
Your ResponsibilitiesEnsure operational excellence in all documentation-related processes for sea freight shipments, focusing on import and export procedures.Monitor and maintain KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) related to documentation processes, identifying and implementing improvement opportunities.Strengthen relationships with shipping lines and carriers to ensure service quality and compliance with agreed terms.Collaborate closely with Customer Care teams to align on documentation needs, ensuring timely and accurate completion.Review, verify, and process all documentation for sea freight shipments to meet regulatory and company standards.Ensure compliance with security and trade control requirements, including adherence to internal policies and global regulations.Provide support in optimizing and digitizing documentation processes, utilizing digital tools to enhance efficiency and data accuracy.Work with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve any documentation issues, aiming for seamless service delivery.Maintain open communication with stakeholders to provide regular updates on the status of shipments and related documentation.Conduct root-cause analysis on any documentation-related discrepancies or issues, implementing corrective actions where necessary.Your Skills and ExperiencesBachelor's degree in International Relations or related fields.+2 years of experience in export operational sea logistics processes.Previous experience handling dangerous goods and security documentation (customs).Advanced English.Good Reasons to JoinAt Kuehne+Nagel, we are committed to matching that excitement with a company culture that puts people first.
