The Sales Support acts as the main support of Sales Executives to handle their customer portfolio. Conducts a wide variety of customer-centric transactions in a timely manner to ensure ZIM's commercial targets and KPIs are achieved. Maintains accurate customer contact listings, reviews, and coordinates updates to customers and vendors. Strives to provide an outstanding sales experience for our customers. Responsibilities: Serve as the principal point of contact for customer rate requests and ongoing price negotiations. Manage rate and free time filing in ZIM's system. Support Account Owner and management by responding to customers' requests regarding rates, free time, service contracts, and all other general requests. Prepare information for meetings with Sales Executive and Country Sales Manager. Conduct face-to-face customer visits with Sales Executive. Monitor customer's booking allocation and materialization. Interact with other ZIM offices within our global agency network to assist with account-related and commercial matters. Support Sales Executives with customer interactions, information, and marketing efforts. Target and develop new business opportunities. Assist customers with a variety of other operational, customer service, and commercial inquiries. Requirements: Academic education in Economics, Business Management, or Marketing. Minimum 2 years of proven experience in a sales or marketing position. Working experience in the shipping industry. Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel. High proficiency in the English language (speaking, reading, and writing) - Advanced English. Strong communication skills. Customer service approach (internal & external). Analytical thinking.
