Job Overview Maximize the performance of the Mercedes-Benz USA dealers within the retail network by ensuring dealer partners are high-performing, profitable, well trained, client/community focused, and positioned competitively within the current market. Support the development and execution of policies, processes, and programs that ensure successful implementation and sustainability of the defined network strategy and achievement of operational/business objectives.
Responsibilities Performance Coaching (75%) Field-based in Atlanta, travels to dealers and dealer groups 75% of the time.Works in partnership with headquarters support teams.Maintains strong working relationships with dealership management and support staff.Executes performance improvement decisions with dealers and dealer groups.Counsels and supports dealer management on performance improvement.Provides a focused approach to improving performance based on operational KPIs.Collaborates with teams to analyze and monitor performance trends.Executes action plans to achieve business unit objectives.Recommends and follows-up on dealer staff training needs.Communicates with dealership leadership to ensure implementation goals are achieved.Steers and implements project scopes and manages timelines.Gains dealer partner commitment and ensures execution of action plans.Manages sustainability objectives and KPIs.Collaborates to implement standardized Dealer Onboarding processes.Supports dealer partners to ensure all requirements are met before grand opening.Process Development and Documentation (10%) Develops standardized processes for all projects.Utilizes standardized processes to manage improvements.Maintains records of all projects and initiatives.Aligns with stakeholders to ensure execution of standardized processes.Team/Cultural Development (5%) Challenges the status quo and enables a culture of respectful debate.Steers projects with a positive outlook focused on long-term success.Qualifications Education Degree in Automotive Management/Business Management/Finance/Economics/Retail Operations/Statistics/Engineering preferred; or a minimum of 10 years combined experience in these disciplines.Experience Proven performance record of >7 years in Sales & Aftersales Retail/Wholesale operations.Experience of >5 years with Mercedes-Benz USA or Mercedes-Benz AG.Comprehensive knowledge of automotive retail processes.Proven ability to effectively communicate with C-level executives.Skills Proficient at building and maintaining strong relationships.Passion and knowledge in automobiles and customer experience.Experience with data analysis techniques.Proven ability to analyze and interpret data.Proven ability to set and manage multiple priorities.Strong Planning and Organizational skills.Proficient at communication design and storytelling.Confident in public speaking.Proven ability to steer decisions with a holistic view.Additional Information Special knowledge Knowledge of federal & state Franchise laws a plus.Strong network within Mercedes-Benz USA beneficial.EEO Statement Mercedes-Benz USA is committed to fostering an inclusive environment that appreciates and leverages the diversity of our team.
