The GSM/Sales Manager is responsible for managing the dealership's new vehicle sales operation. In this role, you are accountable for the quality, capability and effectiveness of the retail sales force, and for ensuring that the Company standards for customer satisfaction, performance and value are met. It is your responsibility to make certain that objectives for sales, profits and cost controls are on target. It is also your charge to select, train and support your sales team, so that they can provide customers with an outstanding experience.
As part of your commitment to deliver an exceptional experience, you are expected to meet or exceed dealership objectives. In order to accomplish this, your team will follow these success indicators:
Meeting or exceeding dealership goals for sales volume, profitability and customer engagement.Achieving consistently high scores and positive feedback from customer surveys.Holding frequent meetings with Service Managers to coordinate and schedule new vehicle deliveries.Producing management statistics that show Sales Consultants continuously improve their proficiency.Maintaining sales department turnover below the dealership's goal.Exceeding dealership goals with contributions from all members of the sales department.Reviewing development goals for all sales department members on a yearly, quarterly, monthly and daily basis, and conducting performance reviews to help team members achieve individual goals.RESPONSIBILITIES The primary goal of the GSM/Sales Manager is to ensure that the sales team has the support it needs to offer customers exceptional service with quality, integrity, passion and pride.

QUALIFICATIONS Prior success as a Sales Manager in a new car dealership.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Strong organization skills and good attention to detail.Must be proficient in understanding, speaking, and writing English.Self-motivated individual that thrives on goals.Must be able to work nights and weekends.
